Getting there

Route

3–4 hours from Accra heading east to Ho, then north toward Hohoe. Private transfers are strongly recommended — public transport to the waterfalls and highlands is very limited.

Hire a community guide for the Wli Falls hike — trails fork and guides directly support local incomes. Carry sufficient cash as ATMs outside Ho are scarce. The Monkey Sanctuary charges a small community fee that goes directly to the village.
